Neptune’s Kingdom draws us deep into the mysterious underwater world of Neptune, god of the sea.Influenced by the Arts and Crafts spirit of William Morris, the design unfolds through a richly layered mirrored repeat of curling seaweed, lobsters, shells, and marine forms — intricate, rhythmic, and quietly full of movement.Look closely, however, and a playful detail emerges:Neptune himself appears sporting snorkel and flippers.This witty modern twist softens the grandeur of mythology with gentle humour, making the design feel both imaginative and wonderfully human.Part of Liberty’s Autumn/Winter 2023 Oceans story, Neptune’s Kingdom belongs to a fantastical underwater world of wine-dark waters, mythological creatures, and glittering mystery.
