Musical March features a charming crayon-style illustration of marching soldiers, inspired by the regimental and musical traditions of Trooping the Colour — one of Britain’s best-loved ceremonial celebrations.Known for its military bands, pageantry, and carefully choreographed procession, Trooping the Colour has long been woven into the rhythm of London tradition.
Yet rather than portraying ceremony in a formal way, Musical March approaches it with softness and playfulness.Drawn in a gentle crayon style, the marching figures feel almost storybook-like — nostalgic, cheerful, and quietly whimsical, carrying movement and music across the fabric.
Originally created as a special print for the DuckaDilly London Collection, the design also carries a lovely sense of rarity and character.
At Bōlife, we were drawn to the joyfulness of it.It reminded us that ritual does not always have to feel grand — sometimes it is found in small everyday moments, accompanied by music, movement, and a little light-heartedness.When transformed into our handmade fabric AirPods case, we imagined Musical March as a tiny parade carried close — quietly accompanying walks, commutes, and moments spent listening to favourite songs.
